LONG STORY SHORT..

I grew up in a small village of 2,000 people near the Romanian border, where life wasn’t easy. At 19, I moved to the capital and worked as a bartender for nearly seven years, but I continuously educated myself in various fields alongside my job. One of those fields was tattooing.

Later, I became an apprentice at a rural tattoo studio, and eventually, I started carving my own path. After two years of tattooing from home, I opened my first small private studio. The following year, we expanded to a larger studio with another artist and even took on an apprentice.

Today, there are four of us working in one studio, and I’m in the process of opening my second studio abroad. I went from being a simple bartender to a tattoo artist in seven years—without any drawing skills or help when I started. Now, I help others so they don’t have to spend seven years figuring it all out.

🚨 ALERT! NO DRAWING SKILL NEEDED

Real or scam? The answer is simple! Yes, it's true. It is possible to tattoo without drawing skills. But how? Let me explain it to you.

History

In the early days of tattooing, people with tattoos were stigmatized as criminals or bad individuals. Because of this, tattoos weren’t popular!

So, if a tattoo artist wanted to make a living, they had to master every style to have enough work. They took on realistic tattoos, portraits, color pieces, abstract designs—everything!

So they had no choice but to learn how to draw.

Specialization

Nowadays, tattooing is extremely popular! Because of this, tattoo artists specialize—some focus only on black and grey portraits, others on color work, some on geometric designs, and some only on lettering, and so on.

Everyone falls into a category based on what they enjoy or what they’re good at. But, for example, someone who only does lettering doesn’t necessarily design the fonts themselves.

Start First, Be Artist Second

Many clients come in with ready-made designs and aren’t looking for custom work. Lettering is a timeless choice—it has always been popular and always will be. Then there are simple line flash designs, which people absolutely love.

If you want to start tattooing and see if it’s the right path for you, these options are more than enough. Later, if you decide to take it seriously and commit to the journey, you can specialize in your own style and designs. But you only need to cross that bridge when you get there!

Of course, if you’re interested in portraits, then yes, you do need to learn how to draw. But today, many tattoo styles don’t require drawing skills at all.
